In recent times, some misleading teachings have emerged claiming that women do not have the capacity to love. This idea is deeply erroneous and dangerous because it attacks the very foundation of marriage, which is built on mutual love, respect, and self-giving. Marriage cannot stand if one spouse is falsely portrayed as incapable of giving or receiving love. Such teachings create mistrust, resentment, and emotional division among couples, and they confuse young people preparing for marriage.

Some individuals misuse St. Paul’s teaching in Ephesians 5:21–33 to support this falsehood, twisting his words to promote male domination or emotional inequality. But St. Paul speaks of mutual submission, sacrificial love, and the unity that mirrors Christ and the Church. His message is rooted in love, not in superiority or inferiority. To claim that women cannot love is to distort Scripture and to harm the sacred union God designed for unity, companionship, and shared love. Healthy marriages flourish when both husband and wife recognize their God-given capacity to love, support, and gift themselves to each other.

What does the Catholic Church really teach about marriage?
In this video, we explore the true meaning of marriage as taught in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1601). Marriage is more than a legal arrangement it is a covenantal and sacramental bond, a lifelong partnership of love between a man and a woman, raised by Christ to the dignity of a sacrament.

What are the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church? Can You Name Them All?
The seven sacraments are central to the Catholic faith, serving as outward signs of inward grace and channels through which believers experience God's presence in their lives. Each sacrament marks significant stages of a Christian's spiritual journey and reinforces their relationship with God and the Church community.

1. Baptism
Description: Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation, cleansing a person from original sin and making them a member of the Church.
Symbols: Water, oil, white garment, and candle.
2. Confirmation
Description: Confirmation strengthens the grace received at Baptism, confirming the individual's faith and equipping them with the Holy Spirit to live a mature Christian life.
Symbols: Laying on of hands, anointing with chrism oil.
3. Eucharist
Description: Also known as Holy Communion, the Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life, commemorating the Last Supper and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Symbols: Bread and wine, which become the Body and Blood of Christ.
4. Reconciliation (Penance or Confession)
Description: This sacrament offers forgiveness of sins committed after Baptism, reconciling the person with God and the Church.
Symbols: The priest's absolution, a penitent's confession.
5. Anointing of the Sick
Description: Given to those who are seriously ill or in danger of death, this sacrament provides comfort, peace, and sometimes physical healing through the Holy Spirit.
Symbols: Anointing with oil, laying on of hands.
6. Holy Orders
Description: This sacrament ordains a man to the deaconate, priesthood, or episcopate, giving him the grace to serve the Church in a special way.
Symbols: Laying on of hands, anointing with chrism oil, and the Book of Gospels.
7. Matrimony (Marriage)
Description: Matrimony unites a man and woman in a lifelong covenant of self-giving love, mirroring the bond between Christ and His Church.
Symbols: The exchange of vows, rings.

By exploring the seven sacraments, we gain a deeper understanding of the rich tapestry of the Catholic faith and how these sacred rites shape and nurture the spiritual lives of believers. Reflect on these sacraments, and see how they manifest in your own journey of faith.
