This week, I joined the Society of Divine Word Missionaries for their annual retreat at St. Augustine Seminary in Bay St. Louis.

Centered on the theme, “Being With Jesus,” our time together was an opportunity to reflect more deeply on the mystery of Christ’s love and the call to faithful discipleship. I was grateful to share on the topics of “With Jesus in His Passion” and “Witnesses to the Resurrection of Christ,” exploring how the Cross and Resurrection continue to shape our lives and mission today.

In between talks, I joined the Society of Divine Word Priests to concelebrate Mass for the Memorial of Saint Charles Lwanga and Companions, Martyrs.

I celebrated the Mass and graduation of Our Lady Academy in Bay St. Louis on Friday.

As these young women move forward into a new season of life, I pray they continue to grow in faith and courage, and that they go forth as intentional disciples of Jesus Christ in all they do.

Yesterday, Bishop Kihneman celebrated a Pentecost Charismatic Mass with the Charismatic Renewal of South Mississippi Ministry centered on the theme, “Holy Spirit: A Promise Fulfilled”

Today, we celebrate Pentecost, the birthday of the Church. Nearly 2,000 years ago, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in Jerusalem and from that moment, the Church was born and sent out to proclaim the Good News.

May we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to renew and guide us each day.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 at St. Patrick High School.

Last Thursday, I celebrated the graduation Mass for the seniors of Sacred Heart High School in Hattiesburg. As these young men and women prepare to step into a new season of life, I offer them my heartfelt congratulations and prayers.

I joined St. Stanislaus College at Our Lady of the Gulf today for the celebration of the class of 2026’s graduation Mass

Congratulations and I will continue my prayers for each of these young men as they leave St. Stanislaus and begin their next chapter in life.

Last night, I celebrated the Graduation Mass for the seniors of Resurrection Catholic High School in Pascagoula. Congratulations to the Resurrection Class of 2026!

"Behold your Mother" John 19:27

This weekend, I joined the parish community of Sacred Heart in D’Iberville for the blessing of their new Stella Maris Grotto and Columbarium.

I pray that this sacred space be a place of prayer, remembrance, and peace for all who come here. Under the loving care of Mary, who will always guide us to her son.

Please keep the people of Sacred Heart Parish in your prayers as their Grotto and Columbarium begins to serve the parish community.

This past weekend, Bishop Kihneman joined the community of Vietnamese Martyrs Parish in Biloxi for a joyful celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation and the blessing of the newly built St. John Community Center.
