Our Catholic Diocese of Biloxi Seminarians are settled into their Seminary Campuses and Classes have begun! They took time out of their studies, classes, work and recreation time to share what they are looking forward to this year at the Seminary! Take a few minutes to read what the guys have to say!

Please keep our seminarians in your prayers as they study, go through formation and discern. Please also join us in praying for an increase in vocations here in the Diocese of Biloxi!

One month ago today on Saturday July 25, 2026, Katherine Michelle Lingenfelder was Consecrated as a Virgin Living in the World by Bishop Louis F. Kihneman at the Nativity BVM Cathedral in Biloxi, Mississippi. She is the first Consecrated Virgin for the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi and in the state of Mississippi.

On that day, she was Mystically Espoused to Christ- She is a Bride of Christ and Jesus is her Bridegroom. On the day of her Consecration, Katherine received a ring that marks her as a Bride of Christ. Part of Katherine's Vocation is to pray for the salvation of souls throughout the world. That includes all of the souls here in the Diocese of Biloxi.

May Katherine's yes to God be an invitation to each of us to be open to saying yes to God's daily invitations. May her yes inspire each of us to strive towards Heaven.

Please pray for Katherine that she may fully and authentically live out her vocation. Know that she is praying for you!
