He received the Dorothy Lashley Award in recognition of his outstanding leadership and devoted service in religious affairs.

We are truly blessed to have a leader whose dedication, faith, and commitment continue to make a meaningful impact in our church and throughout the community.

Today we pause to reflect, empower, and move forward as we commemorate Juneteenth, the day that freedom reached the last enslaved African Americans in Texas on June 19, 1865. ❤️🖤💚

This year marks 161 years since All Enslaved Americans Were Legally Granted Freedom, a powerful reminder of both the progress made and the work that remains. Today we honor the faith, strength, perseverance, and sacrifices of those who endured and overcame.

As we celebrate freedom, let us also embrace our responsibility to build stronger communities, pursue justice, and walk in unity.
