šŸ“£ Exciting News for LifePoint Students! šŸ“£

We are excited to officially announce that Robbie and Jodi Jones will be stepping into the role of Interim Student Pastors at LifePoint Community Church for at least the next year!

Many of you know Robbie and Jodi already through their faithful service as our Care Pastors, and we are incredibly thankful for their willingness to answer God’s call in this new season of ministry. Their heart for people, love for Jesus, and passion for investing in others make them a great fit to lead and encourage our students.

Tomorrow night will be their first official service as our Student Pastors, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for our youth ministry in the days ahead.

Please join us in praying for Robbie and Jodi as they begin this new journey, and if you’re a student, make plans to be there tomorrow night and help give them a warm welcome!

We love and appreciate you both and are excited to see God work through your ministry.

āļøThursday Spotlightāļø

This week we are spotlight Gabby Fuller!

This week we are highlighting the ministry behind our church Facebook and social media platforms. All the reels, highlights, posts, and anything else social media related if you read it or watch it, Gabby had a hand in it! You can often find her recruiting people for her ā€œrandomā€ videos and reels.

We are so blessed to have her and her family at LifePoint. Gabby is married to Jared Fuller, and together they have three girls: Tristan, Callie, and Ry.

Gabby also serves on our worship team where she sings, and Jared plays acoustic guitar and sings as well. You can also find Gabby on Sunday mornings helping with announcements. She also leads our LifePoint Women’s Ministry.

Next time you see Gabby and Jared, take a moment to let them know how much you appreciate them!

We hope to see you tonight @6:30! We have something for all ages!! šŸ’š

Sunday Recap!! šŸ’š

When The Door Closes

Matthew 25:1-13

There are moments in life when opportunities pass, seasons end, and doors close. Jesus tells a parable in Matthew 25 about ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. Five were wise and prepared. Five were foolish and unprepared. The difference was not appearance, it was oil in their lamps.

1. When The Door Closes, You Can’t Borrow Somebody Else’s Faith
Matthew 25:1-9

Five were wise because they prepared ahead of time. Five were foolish because they expected someone else’s oil to carry them through.

You can borrow:

* Someone’s Bible
* Someone’s worship music
* Someone’s church seat

But you cannot borrow:

* Someone’s salvation
* Someone’s prayer life
* Someone’s relationship with God

There comes a moment when every person stands before God for themselves.

2. You Can’t Be Late

Matthew 25:10-12

While the foolish virgins went to buy oil, the bridegroom came. The prepared entered in, and the door was shut.

The frightening part of this story is this:
They showed up, just too late.

Many people intend to get serious with God ā€œsomeday.ā€

* Someday I’ll pray more
* Someday I’ll repent
* Someday I’ll surrender
* Someday I’ll fully commit

3. Keep Your Lamp Burning

Matthew 25:13

ā€œWatch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hourā€¦ā€

Jesus ends the parable with a command: Stay ready.
Lamps do not stay lit accidentally. Oil must continually be added.

Lamps do not stay lit accidentally. Oil must continually be added.
We keep oil in our lives through:
* Prayer
* Worship
* Time in God’s Word
* Repentance
* Obedience
* Daily surrender

Don’t wait until crisis hits.
Don’t wait until the door starts closing.
Don’t wait until the fire is almost gone.

Stay full now.
The difference between the wise and foolish virgins was not appearance — it was preparation.

Do you have oil?

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øā¤ļøšŸ¤šŸ’™
