This weekend, we have the opportunity to hear from Living Prophets. Amos 3:7 states, "Surely the Lord God will do NOTHING, but he revealeth his secrets unto his servants the Prophets." "A Farmers success is not measured by the size of his harvest...but by the amount of seeds he planted."
We cannot control the weather, the storms, the dryness or the sunshine, but we can control the seeds we plant and how we well we plant them. We do not pick our trials, and we cannot change other people. But we can control how we treat people and that can have a major impact on their life later. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of having a small amount of followers, and yet making eternal life possible for you, and for me. I love my Savior and I know that the more Christ-like we choose to be, the happier and more valuable our lives can become to not only ourselves, but to others!
