We're starting out the new year here in Inland West with hearts full of love and gratitude. This Sunday, January 4th, Robin Martell was ordained an elder and set apart as the new pastor of our Billings Congregation. The church building was as full as our hearts as friends, family, and congregation gathered to celebrate this hopeful congregational milestone.

Robin's sacred yes to this call and responsibility joins with many others, past, present, and future in her congregation and our Mission Center. We're thankful for those that have gone before and who have said yes to join her now, ready to respond to where God is leading.

Michelle Phillips, our MCP/MCFO, and Walt McIntosh, who serves on our Advisory Council, were glad to be there as friends and as support from the Mission Center.

Raymond McBride, lifelong member of Community oF Christ, was born in Lavina, MT. and attended church here in Billings. Ray had a great passion for teaching and learning, which led him into traveling all over the world. Because of Ray’s happy kind nature, he made friends and “family” in every country he lived, traveled and taught. A celebration of Ray’s life will be this Saturday, April 5th at 2pm, Community of Christ, 332 Griffing Dr., 59105.
