We want to inspire women to rejoice in the Lord in all circumstances and to give thanks in everything. We believe that we can all make a conscious choice to rejoice for this is where true joy is found. Our desire is to minister to the felt needs of women and help them to discover and fulfill their God-given life purpose, and to 'choose this day whom they will serve." Choosing Joy Ministry will host and plan women's retreats, bible studies, discipleship and mentoring as we feel God leads us.

Morning Blessing: Every Christ-follower goes through a season of pruning; a time when God "reduces" us, prunes us back, thins our lives, and reminds us again that we are not what we do, we're someone He loves. Yet, so often, grief, disappointment, and disillusionment accompany us into this season. But they don't stay with us. Eventually, the sharp pruned edges stop hurting, and they actually heal. Our hearts start to beat again. Our souls start to thrive again. We begin to remember that any gift from God's hand pales in comparison to truly knowing His heart. If you're feeling reduced and cut back, don't panic; don't wonder about your worth (you're worth everything to Him). Remind your soul that God is with you here. He's doing a deep work in you. And soon you'll know wholeness and fruitfulness you never imagined possible. Rest in His care for now. He's got you.

John 15:1-2 (AMP) ~ I am the true Vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit].

Morning Blessing: In those places where you feel like sighing, may Jesus put a new song in your heart. Where you're weary from holding on, may He give you fresh courage to stand strong. Where you've waited long to see the breakthrough, may He very soon do what only He can do. Sometimes it feels like He's slow to intervene, but the truth is, He's meticulous and miraculous, He's sovereign and strategic. He knows what He's doing, and He deserves our trust. May you exhale your angst and inhale His grace. He'll do the heavy lifting. Blessings to you!

Counting your blessings is better than complaining about your hardships. But holding each treasure before the Lord and acknowledging His very specific love for you? It’ll change your life. Why? Because with each gift you notice comes a message to your heart that your heavenly Father sees you, knows you, loves you, and has promised to take good care of you. When you train your thoughts and your gaze to look for the gifts from God’s hand, you’ll start to believe—down deep in your bones—that you not only have a history with God, but you have a future with Him too. It’s impossible for Him to fail you.

Evening Blessing: May the Lord Himself establish you in His best purposes for you. May He strengthen you with holy conviction and gritty faith to climb every mountain He's assigned to you. May He increase your capacity to love and encourage others. And when the enemy rises up against you, may you see with your own eyes how God fights for you. You're on the winning side. Evening Blessing: May God lead you beside still waters and provide rest for your weary soul. May He set you right where you're thinking wrong. May He give you faith to embrace the YOU He's making you to be. And may He give you wisdom to stand and fight when your promised land depends on it. You have everything you need in Him. Evening Blessing: As the day draws to a close, may you embrace God's grace, trusting He’ll fill every gap. Instead of being unsettled by your imperfections, may you be undone by Jesus' perfect love for you. Instead of fretting over your missteps, rejoice that He never left your side today. Scoop this day into your hand and lift it up as an offering to the One who moves mountains and ministers miracles with every little handful we give Him. He's a miracle working God and He loves you.

Psalm 55:2 NLT ~ Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
