Jonah was angry because God showed mercy to Nineveh. But God asked him, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

Jonah cared more about losing a plant that gave him comfort than he cared about an entire city filled with people.

Before we condemn Jonah, we need to examine ourselves. Do we become more upset when we lose our comfort than when people are losing their souls?

The real question is this: Do we care about what God cares about?

We were blessed to help Assist with the s’more night and volleyball tournament at Howard College today. It is great getting to meet and build relationships with all of the new college students.  Andy and Holley team won the tournament, they had a lot of fun. 😇

How much is one soul worth to Jesus?

In Luke 8:26–39, Jesus crossed the Sea of Galilee to reach one suffering, rejected man whom everyone else had given up on. This powerful account reminds us that no person is too broken, too lost, or too far away for Jesus—and no soul is unworthy of hearing the Gospel.

We were grateful to meet so many wonderful students and faculty members. We look forward to building meaningful relationships on campus, encouraging others, and sharing God’s Word throughout this school year!
