THRIFTINESS
Thriftiness is multiplying my resources through wise investments so I have more to give back to God.

Thriftiness is a way of life for those who enjoy the rewards of giving.

Thriftiness is the skill of trading things of lesser value for things of greater value.

The crowning jewel of Creation was man himself. He was created for a distinct purpose. If the purpose is lived out, life is fulfilling. If the purpose is rejected or ignored, life will never be what it was meant to be. Apart from the Creator’s purpose, you and I are like a light bulb lying in a meaningless, useless state. We need to fit into the Creator’s original design, plugging into the power source-our relationship with Him-if our lives are to be what they were meant to be.

FAITH

Faith is recognizing God’s will in a given matter and acting upon it.

Faith is absolute trust and reliance on the realities we can discern through our spiritual senses.
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Faith and obedience are so closely intertwined that you cannot have one without the other.

SINCERITY
Sincerity is being as genuine on the inside as we appear to be on the outside.

Sincerity is letting God show through our blemishes rather than trying to cover them up.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
PSALM 51 : 17

Sincerity is using imperfections as reminders not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought.

CREATIVITY

Creativity is cultivating wise thoughts, prudent words, and skillful actions to carry out God’s will.

Creativity comes by considering how to do a task from a new perspective.

Creativity is the expression of wisdom that comes from a listening heart.
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
PROVERBS 8 : 12

We are motivated to be creative when we are asked to carry out a task that is beyond our resources.

DEFERENCE
Deference is putting the welfare of others ahead of our own personal pleasures.

Deference is exchanging my rights for the permanent joy of another’s spiritual growth.

Deference is leading the way in showing others the true meaning of self-denial.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor perferring one another.

His merciful kindness is great toward us
PSALM 117 : 2

Kindness is invariably associated with mercy. It is impossible to be kind without being merciful. Likewise to be merciful is to be kind. This concern is one of compassion and mercy. We are moved to be kind because we care. Caring is the essence of God’s selfless love expressed to another.
