RAINFOREST FALLS SUMMER BIBLE SCHOOL IS COMING:

This summer at VBS kids and youth will step through the mist into paradise overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures as they experience Rainforest Falls and explore the nature of God.

It will meet every Tuesday starting June 9th through July 14th at 5 to 7 pm. We will have a kickoff on June 9th at the Cumberland Mountain State Park.

A meal will be provided for the kids on June 16th, 23rd, 30th, and July 7th.

If you would like to provide the meal for one of those nights, please get in touch with Lori Myers ( 931-261-4631, [email protected]), Lindsey Thompson (931-261-2094, [email protected]), or Billy Carroll (404-245-2991, [email protected]). We will not need snacks donated as each night has a themed snack. If you would like to provide support for buying the themed snacks, please get in touch with Lindsey Thompson. We will need drinks, such as bottled water, juice boxes, or 2 liters of soda if anyone would like to donate some of those.

The congregation would like to thank everyone who attended the pie supper and auction and made it a resounding success. A good time was had by all and we got to hear from six local political candidates. Sue York, Tre Kerley, Kim Wyatt, Kevin Music, Karen Shanks and Stan Hall.

Pies, cakes, breads, rolls and all kinds of knick knacks that you didn't know you needed.
There is even a romor that Wils prize winning carrot cake will be available.
All proceeds go towards the church's Homecomming celebration.
