No matter how small is the calling, just do it

One day, a man was walking along a beach that was littered with thousands of starfish that had been washed ashore by the high tide. As he walked he came upon a young boy. With every step the boy takes, he bends down, picks up a starfish, and throws it back in the ocean...takes another step and bends down and picks up another and throws it in the ocean...and on and on and on.

Puzzled, the man looked at the boy and asked what he was doing. Without looking up from his task, the boy simply replied, “I’m saving these starfish, Sir”.

The old man chuckled aloud, “Son, there are thousands of starfish and only one of you. What difference can you make?”

The boy picked up a starfish, gently tossed it into the water and turning to the man, said, “I made a difference in that one!”

In this Year of Mercy we are all called to move our feet and get out in the world. As Pope Francis said " I have asked the Church in this Jubilee Year to rediscover the richness encompassed by the spiritual and corporal works of mercy". That is all of us!

We Thank all our contributors, and especially the MPX Group printers, allowing us to print 10,000 Divine Mercy cards translated into The Tonga language (Chitonga, of Zambia and Zimbabwe, also known as Zambezi). English is the primary language in the Monze Diocese we work with, but many still only know Tonga. This is a little way we can support the Year of Mercy throughout the whole world. 6,000 were shipped yesterday!!

Our pray is that God's abundance Mercy be encountered and experienced by all this exciting Year of Mercy.

We wanted to share this special note from the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary. Sister Noel Mary Adjaero (MSHR) is who we work with in Zambia, Africa in support of her family ministry within the Monze Diocese.

We are in the process of developing a partnership with Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, committing to provide Stairway To Heaven retreats and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd trainings to support their family ministry centers they are developing. Will share more as this formalizes.

Greeting all. We arrived at home on Saturday. Internet connectivity was an issue so we were not able to keep you updated during the trip, will post the trip summary and new pictures later this week when we recover from jet lag. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Join us and join the fun at our very first fundraiser event - happy hour and socializing, dinner, silent auction, and raffle drawing. Choose from Steak, Chicken, or a Vegetarian Dish for a fabulous dinner. A silent auction will take place with many authentic African items collected over many years, and a raffle for a beautiful heavy s**g custom Zebra patterned area rug (5x8), or a complete African table setting.
