This Sunday on Easter we will have a Sunrise Service in the cemetery at 0730 on Cemetery Hill. There will be breakfast to follow in the BIBC chow hall before Sunday School.

If it is cold, there will not be any bugs. If it is warm, there will be bugs. In the last three years we have had it all, so be prepared.

I know it feels like forever since our last midweek BS, but we are back this week. We are in 1 Chron 7: 1-5. Focused solely on Issachar. As you read it in prep, pay attention to the number of times this tribe is described as mighty, valorous, and chief. This was a tribe ready for war. They did not shirk or run in fear. They went forward and met the enemy. This is a rare characteristic. Do you share it? See you tomorrow at 1.

Hello BIBC, It is with a sad heart and an abundance of caution we are cancelling all church services on 1 Feb. We do not know what the weather will do the rest of today, tonight, or tomorrow morning, but we do expect it to remain cold with sub-optimum conditions.

Make sure you stay warm and take precautions with the snow, ice, and cold. You can still read your Bible at home and sing to God.

Yesterday while shoveling, I looked at the trees and they were green and brown. They were not encased in ice. I was thankful and happy.

This morning I received two phone calls and heard from some members of BIBC who had been praying for just such a thing. What do I think? I think God heard their prayers and answered. I am thankful for the prayers of faithful people and God listening and taking their prayers serious.

Good Morning BIBC. With bad weather heading our way and scheduled to arrive this evening, we decided to make the call now, instead of waiting twelve hours and doing it then. Delaying the inevitable is what killed all those marines in Aliens.

Don't forget, Ripley knew. She was a survivor. Ripley returned with a squad of space marines and they encounter more Xenomorphs and she says, "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit, it is the only way to be sure..." Ripley knew what she was talking about!

Therefore there will be no delay at BIBC. We are making the call this morning.
