Yesterday, we celebrated 20 years as a church family at Higher Hope Church with our White Flag Surrender service!
Pastor Jeremy shared from the book of Nehemiah, reminding us that just as fruit came from Nehemiah’s surrender to God, fruit comes from our surrender to God as well.
Kish Thakurwani shared examples of his surrender to God at the crossroads of faith and culture, how God moved in his life, how he found joy in service, and how he learned to surrender the world for the Word.
Melissa Ripley shared about her personal journey of surrender through motherhood and an obstacle course adventure that challenged her to let go and trust that her harness would hold her, reflecting her trust in God to hold her fast.
At Higher Hope Church, we seek to “Develop and Deploy Together” those whose lives we interact with. We continue to use the words “I see in you…” often spoken by Pastor Mike, to encourage others as they seek God on their journey of surrender.
