Happy Easter from Round Mountain Church! We are happy for the progress on our roof and for everyone who participated in our service and who helped make our candy rain special this year. We never forget that Jesus is the reason for our celebration, and we know that he rains down his blessings on us and gives us the opportunity for salvation every day of the year!

Round Mountain Church was so very thankful to be chosen as the location of the “Big Day” for some precious young folks this weekend despite our current rebuilding. We pray many blessings on this couple! Congratulations Atlanta and Taylor!!!

Wanted to show everyone the progress on the church. We are so thankful to be able to see walls going back up!

Round Mountain’s Sunday morning church service will be held tomorrow at 10:00am in the fellowship hall section of the church which remains. Please go around to the back fellowship hall entrance to attend. Please do NOT attempt to enter the main sanctuary (that area is still an off limits construction zone) and do not park in any areas closely adjacent to construction debris.

We also want to say THANK YOU again to everyone who has volunteered to help our church. It is making a HUGE difference already, and we pray that God blesses every one of you so very much!

This is going to be quite a process, but the Lord continues to watch over us. And we will be praising him for that in the fellowship hall tomorrow morning. ☺️ 🙏

Update as of 01/27/26 @ 7:00pm: A handful of careful volunteers spent the day pulling out what was salvageable while preventing anyone from getting hurt in the sanctuary. This was a very precarious job as portions of the walls are ready to topple and the roof is caving in more over time. I know that people in the community may be tempted to come by for a look, but please keep your distance from the building as it is still very unsafe. 💕🥰 However, we definitely want to say thank you so much to every single person that has reached out to offer their support and prayers for our church. You cannot begin to imagine what the love and help from all of you means to us and how grateful we are for it. 🥰💕We definitely have a lengthy road ahead before things are back to normal, but we have started the first tiny step towards recovery.

Update as of 01/26/26 @ 2:00pm: The extent of the damage is currently being assessed and everything that can be salvaged, will be. This is quite a process, so plans for both building repairs and future services are still being formulated. That being said, all things work together for good to them that love the Lord, and seeing how our community and our church family are rallying to support us is certainly a beautiful blessing! Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available, but please know that we plan to be back to normal services as soon as possible given the circumstances.

Satan has thrown a wrench into our plans at Round Mountain. Please pray for our church and be aware that our services will be on hold at least temporarily.
