Workshops at Wendover
Appalachian Candy Making

Join us on Saturday for a wonderful free workshop. Kay Fields Hensley & the Pratt cousins have an incredible class lined up for us, one that helps us celebrate our heritage and learn traditional candy making—the kind that was customary in our parents and grandparents generations.

These Appalachian Culture Workshops are a treasure to our community. We hope you all can join us on Saturday.

We had a great time at Henderson Settlement even though our numbers were low. We brought gifts for the young ladies, too...

We had a great time at Henderson Settlement even though our numbers were low. We brought gifts for the young ladies, took a prayer walk around campus, and started a prayer notebook with helps, Scripture, lists of people to pray for and the emphasis needed to meet the needs of the different categories of people. It was a blessing for us.
The little building is where the Settlement began with a school years ago.
