Over and over in Scripture, we see the instructions to God’s people to create memorials, and traditions that remind us of what God has done, in the past and continues to do, for us as we honor His commandment to multiply and protect life. We honor those in our families who have gone away from us to meet God through the Memorial for the UNBORN. We develop and observe traditions such as our Baby Bottle Drives to ensure the protection and support for those babies who have been conceived yet find themselves in a less than favorable condition to survive. We support and encourage the sanctity of life in its’ many aspects. It is vital to our own faith to remember His work, and we must not fail to pass that faith on to future generations. One of the most important ways we can do this is to remember what God has done for us publicly by supporting the Baby Bottle Drive and the upcoming Walk for Life this fall, always remembering to give thanks to God for His favors and blessings.
In that light, we encourage you to rejoice with us at the amazing things God has accomplished through this Parish within the last two years in being able to fully supply ABBA with the resources they so desperately need to continue their work with the saving of babies at their Women’s Center for pregnancies in crisis. We are encouraged as we move forward with our plans this year and possibly for next year, as we help ALPHA in its move and procurement of its own state of the art ultrasound machine to deliver the same services that you have helped us acquire for ABBA.
We, the members of the Knights of Columbus and its Culture of Life Committee, wish to encourage you in helping us meet our goals and we want to extend our thanks to all people, in and outside the Parish, who generously give of their financial support and talents to make possible that we meet God’s mandate to love one another.
