Rev. Paula Norbert will look at how art and faith intersect, focusing on thoughts, such as Persian poet and Islamic scholar Rumi's timeless reminder: "Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground."

Magnificent Humanity & The Impact of AI

How do we hold onto our humanity, our faith, and our connection to one another in a rapidly changing world?

Join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. as Rev. Paula Norbert explores this important question. Drawing inspiration from Pope Leo’s first papal encyclical, "Magnificent Humanity," her sermon will take a thoughtful look at the moral, social, and economic impacts of artificial intelligence. It promises to be a deeply relevant conversation on how we navigate modern technology, while anchoring ourselves in ethics, purpose, and community.

As this is Communion Sunday, we will also share in the bread and cup during our worship together.

And our wonderful music director, Michelle Currie, will provide the music!

Six walkers, 3.5 miles, and a whole lot of love for our community!

Over the weekend, a fantastic team of six from Union Church laced up their sneakers and took part in the 3.5-mile Maine Needs Walk!

Our Outreach Committee is incredibly proud to continuously support the vital work that Maine Needs does for our community, and we are so grateful to our friends for representing Union Church out on this endeavor!

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, or cheered them on! Together, we’re helping take care of our neighbors.
