Kavanah Шаббат стремится сделать участие в утренних Субботних службах более вдохновляющим для большего числа людей. Мы будет опираться на AgudasAchim основные ценности традиционных, участия, равноправного и дружественные и будут экспериментировать с

• новый подход к пению,
• другой (но по-прежнему традиционный) формат службы,
• научиться создавать и найти смысл в литургии, и
• разработкой более целенаправленной атмосферы для молитвы.
Один раз каждый месяц (как правило, в четвертую Субботу), мы будем стараться пробовать чего то нового в этих областях. В одном мы преуспеем, в другом не так, но мы будем рады попытаться сделать молитву вдохновляющей. Заранее благодарим вас за ваш энтузиазм и терпение!

Наши ежемесячные совещания по планированию (обычно в первый понедельник месяца в 7:30 вечера) открыты для общественности, в том числе не являющимся членами. В консультации с раввином Левин, Кантор Лорен Bandman и комиссии из девяти членов делает окончательные решения о какой инновации попробовать и какие надо сохранить.

Greetings!
Shabbat Kavanah aims to make leading and participating in Shabbat morning services more inspiring for more people. We will build on Agudas Achim’s core values of being traditional, participatory, egalitarian and friendly and will experiment with:
• new approaches to singing,
• a different (but still traditional) format of the service,
• learning how to create and find meaning in the liturgy, and
• developing a more purposeful atmosphere for prayer.

Once each month (usually on the fourth Saturday), we will try different innovations in these areas. Some of these will work well and others will not, but we are excited to have a supportive environment for trying out new ways to make prayer inspiring. Thank you in advance for your enthusiasm and patience!

Our monthly planning meetings (usually the first Monday of the month at 7:30PM) are open to the public, including non-members. In consultation with Rabbi Levine and a consultant, Cantor Lauren Bandman, a committee of nine congregants makes final decisions about which innovations to try and which to keep.
