Dear People of St. Alban’s:

Always, and especially at Christmas, we remember that we are people of light and hope. This light truly does shine — through us — in a world full of darkness, and the darkness does not overtake it.

May we remember this:

The reign of Christ comes not by conquest and domination,
but by gracious love, gladly given, and willingly received.
May the reign of Christ come near as the people of God say,
Christ, we are your body: live in our hearts.
Christ, we are your people: govern our lives.
Christ, we are your lights in the darkness:
Send us out in your name!

The Lord Jesus Christ, born in Bethlehem, bless you and your families and loved ones at this holy time of light, hope, and grace. May Mary, the mother of Jesus, and blessed St. Alban watch over you and our beloved church always.

It truly takes a village to keep children safe and happy! Thanks to Columbus Gives Back, the volun-told spouses of staff, Darren and Bill (🤣), and the amazing combination of administrative and teaching staff who helped mulch our Champion center over the weekend!

Mulching is super important to center operations because it prevents both weeds and playground injuries.The kids in our centers get really excited about new mulch as well!

Ready for the August Special Election? The library has voter registration forms and applications for absentee ballots on display.

Important Election Dates:
Deadline to register to vote: July 10
Early in-person voting: begins July 11
Absentee voting by mail: begins July 11
Mailed absentee ballots: must be postmarked by August 7
Election Day: August 8 (Polls open 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM)
