Inasmuch as it has pleased almighty God to receive His servant home, we mourn the death and celebrate the life of Her Grace, Bishop Loretta Smith-Johnson. Bishop Smith-Johnson was the spiritual mother of our Presiding Bishop; the one who ordained him a priest and consecrated him a bishop. Her legacy lives on in all of us. To God be all the glory.

Chan-Williams! 👏🏽🙌🏽🎉 The ACP is grateful to God for the gift of Bishop Chan-Williams and his many contributions to the body of Christ! May he continue to lead well and minister passionately until the Lord returns. Happy Anniversary Bishop!!!

Today we celebrate and send our congratulations and prayers to Bishop Hylanie Chan-Williams, who was officially promoted today as a COMMANDER in the U.S. Navy Chaplains Corps. 👏🏽🙌🏽 His ministry and bishopric within the ACP mean more than we could evr say. This is a day we have PATIENTLY prayed and BELIEVED GOD for, and now it has arrived. Fair seas and following winds COMMANDER. 🫡 Keep doing what you’re doing… you do it so well. We praise God that Ensign/Deacon Steven Jenkins and Ensign/Deacon Angie Jenkins could be there with their bishop and add to it being an ACP church-family affair. We continue to Pray for Bishop Hylanie’s wife Sharon and their children as well and pray the Lord continue to bless them in every way. It’s not easy being a Navy family OR a clergy family.
