FBC Middle School Fellowship Rulz!!1!!!

Middle School Fellowship friends and fans! We have been woefully behind on updating our posts here BUT we are ON IT just in time for our 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. LYNCH PARK CLOSING PROGRAM EXTRAVAGANZA FOR THIS SUNDAY!!!!

This special program is open to RISING 5th GRADERS (so current 4th graders!) AND we will do a SPECIAL CLOSING TIME for our 8th graders as they look toward Sr. High Fellowship! FRIENDS ARE WELCOME!

Middle School Fellowship: Lynch Park Closing Time – 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. *NOTE SPECIAL TIME*
RISING 5th GRADERS ARE INVITED FOR THIS PROGRAM, so if you have current 4th grade friends who would like to experience Fellowship, please invite them! Our Middle School Fellowship will meet AT Lynch Park (please plan to be dropped off there; let us know if this presents a transportation issue for you!) at 3 p.m. for our Closing Middle School Celebration of the Year! We will begin with a group game or two, then we will have time for you to play at the beach (with advisor supervision) or to use some of the church’s collection of lawn games which we will bring. Youth should bring anything they wish to have for this time – a bathing suit, towel, other games, etc. We will also get treats for everyone at Captain Dusty’s AND THEN will come back together for a closing time and to send our graduating 8th graders off to Sr. High Fellowship with all our love and care. Youth should then be picked up from Lynch Park at 5 p.m. – and we will look forward to seeing everyone again in September!

These Middle schoolers totally rocked a project making 4 blankets for Project Linus yesterday! They finished so quickly that we even had time for games in the gym with Adam!

SO PROUD of our amazing youth again today, as they shopped for holiday gifts to be donated to Family Promise!

They did great, worked together well, and chose some really thoughtful and wonderful gifts to be given. ❤️

UPDATE FOR TODAY, Sunday, December 5th!

BOTH groups will be going shopping for gifts to be donated to Family Promise (a partner organization of ours working here on the North Shore to address and help end family homelessness). They run a holiday gift “store” each year where families can shop for gifts for those they love and then wrap them, and this year their event will be held in our church – so we will be donating some gifts and toys for children to it.

This is one of our regular – and favorite – December service projects as a Fellowship family.

SO – both groups will meet at their usual times (4 p.m. for Middle School and 6 p.m. for Senior High) AT THE CHURCH to head out to shop. You WILL NEED YOUR MASK FOR THIS PROGRAM.

For each youth group time, we will head in the van to a local store or two and do some shopping before heading back to the church for pick-up. Therefore, we are asking that Sr. High youth not be dropped off much before 6 p.m., as the building will not be open (because Middle School will just be returning from shopping!).

IF YOU CAN, PLEASE BRING $5 TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR POOL FOR GIFT SHOPPING (but also do not worry and please still come, even if you are not able to bring any money!).

Sr. High you may want to bring yourself some extra money to grab dinner/a snack while we shop!

So, to recap: Middle School, please drop off at 4 p.m. at the church and pick-up at 6 p.m. at the church; wear your mask.
