St. Anthony was born into wealth but rejected it to live the life of a Franciscan. He desired to give his life as a martyr, but found his greatest success as a preacher. He was the first to teach theology to his fellow Franciscans and was known for his gentleness and embracing poverty. He is a Doctor of the Church and is the patron saint of lost articles. His feast day is June 13th.

The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is celebrated on the Friday after Corpus Christi, which this year falls on June 12th. This is a great day to start saying the prayers for the consecration of the US to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Most of what we know about St. Barnabas comes from the Acts of the Apostles. Barnabas brought St. Paul to the church in Antioch where both of them preached the Gospel with great success. The two of them later travelled to the Greek city of Lystra where after a miraculous cure the Greeks thought that they were the gods Zeus and Hermes and tried to worship them. His feast day is June 11.
