My grandparents were married in this Catholic church. ❤️

Years later, my wife and I tried to get married here too.

Today I came back to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Los Angeles for Confession and Mass.

Walking down this aisle knowing my grandparents once stood here as husband and wife hits differently.

Some places remind you that the Faith was here before you.

And God willing, it will be here long after.

Deo gratias. 🙏✝️

This is what the world sounds like when it becomes quiet before God.

I sat in Adoration tonight.

No argument.
No debate.
No politics.

Just Jesus.

I wrote a prayer while I was there for anyone who sometimes sits before God and does not know what to say.

Take it. Make it yours. Pray it with me. 🙏

I went to the 6:30 PM Mass tonight at St. Joseph’s Chapel in Carpinteria, California.

It was in Spanish.

I don’t speak Spanish.

It didn’t matter.

The Holy Mass is the Holy Mass.

Then came the special treat: Adoration.

I love, love, love being in Adoration. Tonight even the air felt different. The silence itself felt sacred.

The Catholic Church brought the Sacred Host to Earth to feed the starving spirits of men.

The Eucharist needs no translation. ❤️‍🔥
