Men, our annual Men's Retreat is just over 3 weeks away. This event is our most focused event of the year. We focus on building up men, creating and strengthening relationships with other men and our families and getting deeper into God's word and will for us. This year, we've added workshops that will facilitate the main lesson and allow more personalized learning.

What stays the same is the great fellowship, outstanding food menu, fantastic worship music, secluded and stocked facilities and top notch speaker. This year we are pleased to welcome Evan Sheckler, BCC's very own discipleship minister, as our speaker. Evan has a passion for teaching others how to seek the Lord and live lives according to His will.

The dates are Oct. 24th-26th (Thursday-Saturday). We start with dinner on Thursday night and break camp by noon on Saturday. The cost is $85 and includes everything. The location is Camp Summit in New Windsor, IL.

Please consider making this retreat part of your year. You will be glad you did, even if it means taking a Friday off of work. Sign up at Bettendorf Christian Church. It's time to golf! The BCC Men's Ministry Golf Outing is Saturday, September 7th. We tee off at 8am at Byron Hills Golf Course in Port Byron, IL. Sign in starts at 7am.

This is a 4-man best ball tournament. Sign up a team, or come solo and we'll put you on a team. The cost is $50 and includes the round, cart, lunch and prizes.

Sign up and pay at BCC. This event is as blast every year!

UPDATE: We are going to have to cancel the Father/Son camp out this year.

Our team apologizes for any inconvenience. We will keep you posted on any potential make-up events to replace this event.

DON'T FORGET: Tomorrow, Friday the 13th, we're playing RISK at the Bettendorf Community Center. We plan to start at 7pm and end when someone rules everything!

Bring a snack! The Men's Ministry will supply some 2-liters, but feel free to bring your own drink.

It's with great sadness that due to the projected weather on Friday and Saturday we will be cancelling the 2017 MIC father-son camp-out. Look for another father son activity later this fall or early winter.

Men, this weekend is the last weekend to sign up for the Men's Retreat. Sign up at the Men's Ministry table in the BCC commons. The $80 fee is also due this weekend.

If you're on the fence about coming this year, get down and join us. It's going to be special!

Fathers, join us for fun and games on July 14th. We're having our annual Father/Child cookout. Bring your kids to BCC and relax, eat and let the kids play. All food is provided.

We start cooking at 6pm, so come hungry. Feel free to bring outdoor games and equipment.

Event alert! Men, June 17th marks our annual Guns & Grub event. And it's just like it sounds...fellowship over fi****ms, followed by lunch at the church.

A caravan leaves from the BCC parking lot at 8am. Or, you can meet us at the range at 8:15am. We'll head back to church around 11am and enjoy lunch (provided by the Men's Ministry).

Note: You DO NOT need to own a gun to join. There will be guns and ammo to share. We typically pass a hat to help those who provided ammo pay for it.
