Teachable Moment ✍🏽:

⚠️Don’t Turn An 11-Day Journey Into A 40-Year Wandering❗️

Numbers 32:13 NLT - “The Lord was angry with Israel and made them wander in the wilderness for forty years until the entire generation that sinned in the Lord’s sight had died.”

- Israel’s journey from Egypt to the Promised Land was never supposed to take forty years. Their wilderness experience became prolonged because of unbelief, fear, disobedience, complaining, and refusal to trust God.

- There is a difference between being in the wilderness and wandering in the wilderness.
God can use your wilderness season to:
1. Develop your faith.
2. Teach dependence.
3. Mature your character.
4. Prepare you for your assignment.
5. Remove old thinking. (You can’t enter the Promised Land with the mindset you’ve had in Egypt.)
- Wandering happens when we continually resist what God’s trying to teach us.

⚠️The consequences of turning 11 days into 40 years:

- Years can be spent dealing with issues that could have been surrendered earlier.
- Disobedience can delay our participation in what God has called us to do.
- Spiritual stagnation : instead of growing, we can remain stuck in the same cycles.
- Rebellion creates struggles that obedience could have prevented.
- A wilderness mentality : we can become so accustomed to survival that we become afraid of possessing the promise.
- Generational consequences : Israel’s rebellion affected not only them, but the generation that followed them.

How do we stop wandering?
- Repent ❗️
Turn away from the attitudes and behaviors that keep pulling you backwards.

- Obey promptly ❗️
Don’t keep negotiating with God about what He has already instructed you to do.

- Stop looking back ❗️
- Change your thinking ❗️
- Keep moving ❗️

Encouragement đź«‚:
- Your wilderness doesn’t have to be your permanent address.
- Stop circling the same mountain.
- Stop looking back towards Egypt.
- Start walking forward in faith.

Scripture :
Deuteronomy 2:3 NLT - “You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, asking You to lead me out of every wilderness season that has kept me wandering, delayed, discouraged, or spiritually stagnant.

Lord, I recognize that some wilderness seasons have been necessary for my growth, but I do not want to remain in a place You have called me to leave. Give me the courage to move forward when You say, “Go.” Remove fear, doubt, unbelief, disobedience, and anything else that keeps me from entering the promises You have prepared for me.

Father, help me stop looking backward at what You brought me out of. Give me faith to trust where You are taking me. Heal the places in me that were wounded in the wilderness, and teach me the lessons I need to carry into my next season.

Break every cycle of wandering. Break every pattern of returning to what You delivered me from. Give me spiritual discernment to recognize Your direction and the obedience to follow it.

Lord, order my steps. Make the crooked places straight and give me strength when the journey becomes difficult. Let this wilderness not become my permanent residence, but a testimony of Your faithfulness.

I declare that I am moving forward by faith. I am leaving behind fear, confusion, delay, and unbelief. I am trusting You for my promised land, my new season, and my divine purpose.

Father, bring me out of the wilderness and into everything You have ordained for my life.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Happy Wednesday đź’•

Moment of Encouragement đź«‚:

Scripture : Hannah’s Prayer for a Son.
1 Samuel 1:12-18 NLT.

“As she was praying to the Lord, Eli watched her. Seeing her lips moving but hearing no sound, he thought she had been drinking. “Must you come here drunk?” he demanded. “Throw away your wine!” “Oh no, sir!” she replied. “I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the Lord. Don’t think I am a wicked woman! For I have been praying out of great anguish and sorrow.” “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.” “Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad.”

- Hannah was no longer sad, because her faith brought her peace.
- She surrendered and left her burdens at the altar.
- She showed a complete shift from deep despair to trusting in God.

- God invites us to shift our focus from what we see and how we feel to who He is and what He can do.
- Bring your pain, worries, fears, questions, and disappointments to Him, believing that He is faithful.
- When you surrender your burdens to Him, He replaces your despair with hope, your fear with faith, and your anxiety with peace.

- God is still with you, even when you can’t feel Him ❗️

- God is still working, even when you can’t see Him ❗️
TRUST HIM EVEN WHEN YOU CAN’T TRACE HIM ❗️

- God has not forgotten you, even in your darkest seasons❗️
His promises are greater than your present circumstances.

Your situation can and will change, but even before it does, God will change you from within.
JUST TRUST HIM ❗️

SURRENDER IT ALL . HE’LL TAKE CARE OF IT❗️

Scripture:
Psalm 120:1 NLT - “I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to Him, and He answered my prayer.”

Prayer :

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart. Sometimes the weight of my circumstances feels greater than my strength, and despair tries to convince me that there is no hope. But today, I choose to turn my heart toward You.

Lord, help me trust You when I cannot understand what You are doing. Help me believe You are working even when I cannot see the way forward. Remind me that You have not abandoned me, forgotten me, or left me alone.

Take away the fear, anxiety, hopelessness, and discouragement that weigh me down. Replace them with Your peace, strength, and hope. Teach me to surrender the things I cannot control and place them completely into Your hands.

When my faith feels weak, strengthen me. When I feel like giving up, remind me of Your promises. When I cannot see the light, help me remember that You are still my light.

Father, I choose to trust You one day at a time. I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I know You hold tomorrow. Help me keep my eyes on You instead of my circumstances.

Restore my hope. Renew my spirit. Give me courage to keep moving forward, knowing that You are with me every step of the way.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏽

Scripture:

Psalm 9:10 NLT - “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.”

Prayer :

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart that longs to know You more deeply. Your Word declares that those who know Your name will put their trust in You. Lord, reveal Yourself to me—not only by the names You have revealed in Scripture, but by allowing me to experience Your character in my daily life.

Teach me to know You as Jehovah Jireh, my Provider when I have need; Jehovah Rapha, my Healer when I am broken; Jehovah Shalom, my Peace in every storm; Jehovah Nissi, my Banner and my Victory in every battle; Jehovah Rohi, my Shepherd who faithfully leads me; and El Shaddai, the Almighty God who is more than enough.

Lord, You revealed Yourself to Moses as “I AM WHO I AM.” Help me to understand the greatness and holiness of Your name. May I never take Your name lightly, but honor it with reverence, worship, and obedience. Let Your name be written upon my heart and reflected through my life.

Jesus, thank You for revealing the Father to us. As I grow in my relationship with You, help me to know the Father’s heart more clearly. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me into all truth and give me wisdom, discernment, and understanding.

Father, remove anything that blinds me from seeing who You truly are. Replace fear with faith, doubt with confidence, and confusion with clarity. May I know You personally—not only through knowledge, but through fellowship, prayer, and obedience.

Let my life bring glory to Your holy name. May every word I speak, every decision I make, and every step I take reflect the One whose name is above every name. Teach me to trust in Your name, call upon Your name, and proclaim Your name to others with boldness and love.

Thank You for inviting me into a relationship with You. Continue to reveal Yourself to me day by day until I know You more fully and love You more deeply.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen.
