Desire For Discomfort Desire For Discomfort is a ministry and a community of college students who use music to spread the gospel at Lehigh University and Bethlehem PA.

Heavily based on the ministry being done by CTI Music Ministries, and organization that puts together music teams and sends them all over the world to perform and teach about Jesus. This is not a worship band however, the songs we perform are not what you would traditionally hear at a church, and some aren't even based on Christian values. The primary goal is outreach, and therefore, the songs mus

t be popular. The main thing taken into consideration is whether people will stop to listen to us if we were to play a certain song. The way we tie this in to the gospel is through verbals, short speeches, given during the concerts, where one may take a secular song, and talk about it from a Christian perspective, therefore giving those listening an idea of how Christians think, and see the world. The number one goal in outreach is to point people to Jesus who do not normally hear much about Jesus.
