Society of St Joseph of Bethlehem Nonprofit Owner of St. Joseph's Church in Bethlehem, PA. Our mission is to restore and preserve St. Follow for SSJB news & events! The Society of St.

Joseph’s Church as a sacred place of worship and a testament to the history and cultural heritage of Southside Bethlehem. Joseph of Bethlehem (SSJB) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.

*Our vision* is to revitalize the use of

the church for prayer, devotion, and sacred Catholic events, as well as a space to benefit the community. Joseph of Bethlehem (SSJB) will also honor the immigrant history of Southside Bethlehem - all those who came to Bethlehem to find a better life, bringing their religious and cultural traditions with them, and who became the backbone of the steel industry and ushered in an important new chapter in Bethlehem’s story. In particular, we will share the history of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and its Windish Slovenian heritage, and hope to sponsor social events as well.

Our next monthly bingo is Sunday, July 5th - join us for a fun time and chance to win 💵! Theme is Happy Independence Day - 250 years! Wear red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸 At Se-Wy-Co banquet hall (Nick’s BBQ).

Doors open at 1:00 PM, bingo starts at 2:00. $30 entrance fee provides 20 games of regular bingo on 9-on sheets, and 5 specials on 3-on sheets. Regular bingo pays $40/50 depending on number of players. Specials pay out $75!! $200 jackpot bingo sheets sold separately! All are welcome! Mark your calendars now!

Fr. Brendon Laroche was hospitalized in early June and was diagnosed with diabetes and a genetic/hereditary liver condition. He is home now recovering but has to adjust to a new way of eating.
