Kehila Chadasha is a proud sponsor of Jews Demand: ICE Out! Along with 50+ other Jewish organizations, we are gathering together to give voice to Jewish values which support human rights for all. On Thursday, April 30, join us, and at actions across the country to take a moral stand against ICE’s cruelty, and hold corporations accountable for their complicity in the detention machine.

We had an amazing time with Israeli chef and food writer Vered Guttman! Vered shared her family's journey from Iraq and Poland to Israel, using their story to explore how Israeli cuisine has been shaped by the meeting of diverse Jewish communities. Vered also brought Moroccan sweets to celebrate Mimouna, the Moroccan Jewish celebration held at the end of Passover, which is traditionally interfaith and intercultural.
