The Shepherd's Place

The Shepherd's Place The Shepherd’s Place is a Christian after-school program that provides a Loving , fun and safe place.

Christian Adult Volunteers who:
-Help prepare/serve a healthy snack when youth arrive.
-Choose a station(s) in which to help youth complete a project based on a Biblical story or theme of the week. Age appropriate Bible lesson will be prepared in advance by the Executive Director, and all materials will be prepared in advance for the Volunteers by the Assistant to the Director. (1or more adult vol

unteers per station at all times)
-Mentor youth by being positive role models.
-Help youth learn practical life skills and develop their God given talents.
-Help youth grow in faith by sharing how God has worked in their own lives.
-Help identify youth that may need extra help (food pantry help, tutoring, self discipline, career guidance, etc.). Christian Themed Physical Environment:
Mural: 10 Commandments
Fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22 (NIV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
John 3:16- “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Well lit stations set up and decorated with vibrant and inspirational colors
-Bibles, Christian books and magazines in all stations
-Wall of Praise - postings of answered prayers and of current stories about God’s miracles and work in people’s lives
-Prayer request Jar where prayers can be confidentially submitted to our prayer warriors

Great week back from spring break! Special thanks you To Megan for donating snacks, Pastor Brian for treating them to Tacobell and an Easter egg hunt, and reminding me about Grace, Thank you my favorite Bethel Blonde Angel Regina from Agape Church for making the kids goodie bags💖✝️ Love you All much!! Only photo today. Thanks Gail for leaving the mask the girls enjoyed themselves today. I had the kiddos a pizza party for early Valentines as we will be closed now thru the 16th. We will reopen February 17th after-school. Everyone stay warm and safe🙏💖 Be sure to Mark your calendar for our all ages worship night with Peyton Foster February 20th and our final all boys night February 27th

Monday was magnificent with Ms. Gail! We are so thankful for her dedication over the years and that we can all look forward to Mondays because she shares God's word with us, prays over us and always brings the best crafts for the kiddos! Unfortunately there is no school again today Tuesday February 3rd, 2026, so we will be closed. Please stay safe and warm and hopefully we will be back at it tomorrow and Thursday for our early Valentine's party!
Please Note we will also be closed February 6th thru 16th and will re-open Tuesday February 17th the Good Lord willing 🙏💖
