Satan is the god that is worshipped the most across our world.

Not because he is a god. He is just worshipped as if he is a god. Sadly so many have no idea that is who they are worshipping. :-(

Here is one of the biggest differences between the 10 Commandments and the commands of the New Testament.

The 10 Commandments are thou shall not. What we are told not to do. But in the New Testament God says I will. God says he will write his laws on our minds and on our hearts. (Hebrews)

We come to God and say Lord I need the helper. Jesus gives us the Helper. (Johns Gospel) After this happens. The laws God writes within us suddenly we can uphold and live by.

The Holy Spirit gives us power. (Acts) The Holy Spirit gives us this power. Not just to heal the sick, predict the future, speak a language we didn’t learn and more. The Holy Spirit gives us power in our minds and our hearts to live the way God desires us to live. The same Holy Spirit that came upon the Lord will come upon us. Enabling us to walk the way Jesus did.

But without being baptized in the Holy Spirit the correct way. (Acts teaches us how) You will never have this power. Never have this ability. Do not deny yourself this.

The Trinity is a great model for how we are supposed to serve Gods Kingdom.

Each manifestation of God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are equally God. But they each have different roles.

God sees men and women as one. But we have different roles. We are supposed to mirror the example of the Trinity.

One of the ways you can explain the Bible is like this.

The Bible shows the journey God had taken during all of human history to find a bride for his son. 🙂

I have always loved describing the Bible like this to others. The question is. Are you going to be part of the bride?

Gifts and fruits.

When baptized in the Holy Spirit God will give you a gift and you will produce the fruit of the Spirit.

The gift almost always comes before you start producing all the fruit of the Spirit. Don’t be discouraged if you aren’t producing all the fruit right away. Remember, gifts can be given quickly. But fruit takes time to grow and ripen. :-)

God in the Old Testament Vs the New.

I hear people say God is very diffeeent in the Old Testament compared to the New. While there are some things that are different. The core of who God is remained the same.

Here are some of the ways God is the same in both the Old and New Testaments.

Forgiving
Patient
Wanted his peoples love
Wanted his people to obey
Called those disobeying to repent
Blessed his people
Showed his grace
Judged evil

What I listed are the things I could think of quickly. I bet if we took more time we could make that list longer.

God is not so different between the Old and New Testaments.

Reconciliation is a fruit of forgiveness. Whenever you can. Reconcile with those you have forgiven.

How important is water baptism? Let’s use the Bible to answer this question.

Matthew - “I baptize you with water for repentance”

Mark- John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Acts- And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance.”

How important is Repentance?

Acts- “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now COMMANDETH all men every where to repent.”

If water baptism is for repentance and repentance is required by God. That means water baptism is far more important then so many ever learn. If there is no repentance there will be no forgiveness. Without forgiveness there will be no heaven.

I can see this coming. The church must get ready for it.

Christianity is a faith of actions. What you say is fine but it’s what you do as well that determines where you spend eternity.

Selected verses in Romans, Acts, Galatians, Paul’s letters to Timothy and a handful more verses don’t change this.

The thief on the cross and a deathbed conversion do not apply to this conversation.

These unique (really insane) beliefs just keep coming. 🤷

So now the Garden of Eden wasn’t a physical place located on the earth. Eden is symbolic for if we just live the way God wants us to we can have a fruitful life that will prosper. It will be like a paradise for us. If we do not we will lose everything.

It just amazes me how so many people want to believe everything but what the Bible actually says. SMH
