In June of 2026, we had an intern from Emmanuel University for the first time. She was amazingly helpful, and we hope to have someone out again next year.

If you would like to see what we did, please visit this website: https://summerintern2026.my.canva.site/

She was able to do hands-on archival work, to speak with leading archives directors, museum directors, and historians, and to visit several museums in OKC. We got a "behind the scenes" tour at the Oklahoma History Center, which was an amazing experience. If you are interested in working with me next year, I'll be in OKC in May of 2027. Just reach out by email: [email protected].

In the meantime, I will be working with this summer's intern to do more work on the King Collection. We started an online museum: https://iphcac.omeka.net/

We will be adding to that and working on a book to share the collection.

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church has its main archives and research center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. However, you will find items from our regional centers as well in this repository. Photos, books, documents, audio, video, and other items are housed here for research.

Many of you ask me about resources from the archives for how we developed our theology in the IPHC. Please view Bishop Beacham's book: Light for the Journey: A Fresh Focus on Doctrine, published just this summer! It's available on the Lifesprings website and on Amazon.

A historic moment from the 30th General Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The announcement of Bishop Talmadge Gardner as our newly elected General Superintendent marks a significant chapter in the continuing story of the IPHC. It was a privilege to witness this moment and preserve it as part of our shared history.

May the Lord grant Bishop Gardner wisdom, strength, and grace as he leads our denomination in the years ahead.

The Women's Ministries convention was uplifting. I know I already posted about this, but I wanted to say what a great job Whitney Davis has done.

Here are some pictures of beautiful Mobile, Alabama. Mom LaDonna Scott , cousin Tricia Rex Carnes and I got to tour a historic home one afternoon too. I got out for a walk almost every morning and took pictures.
