In regards to the new Parish Center at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, we are still moving slowly forward. The plan is for a multi-purpose Parish Center that can meet the needs of our growing parish, both now and for the future. The Parish Center will have a large parish hall, modern kitchen, adequate storage area, and bathrooms on one side. The other side will be the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry area. There will be storage space, a work area, refrigeration and freezer units, and office space. Because of the town hall meetings and the listening sessions, we had to make several changes to our plan. The new ideas will really help to make sure the new building will be a great benefit for our parish family and our community for many years to come.
Thank you to Georgia Bresch, Roberta Spees, Michelle Keyser, Cathy Rossi, and Ed Szkudlapski, who are serving on the Planning Commitee for the building. Their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm, and support is much appreciated.
*****This past week,our parish team has been working hard with the CCS group on several areas. We have worked on the campaign logo, motto, prayer and brochure.We have put together a Campaign Executive Committee, and we added a Co-chair person to the group. Hopefully, we will keep our momentum going and continue to move forward. We have also reached out to several foundations to seek assistance in helping bring our project to a successful completion. However, the bulk of the project will be ours to complete. It is really up to all of us, using our time, talent, and treasure, to GROW IN FAITH, BUILD HIS KINGDOM, AND SERVE HIS PEOPLE. Many
faithfilled people did that before us and left a great legacy of faith. What they built years ago is still here, not just in buildings or programs, but in faith, love, hope, and service. St.Ann has let the Light of Christ shine forth for over half a
century. It is up to all of us now to ensure that that Light continues to shine brightly as we move forward into the future.I invite all of us to firstly pray for the successful completion of our capital campaign, and secondly, to pray for the projects that will help to make sure the Light of Christ burns strong and bright for many more years to come. May all of us continue to GROW IN FAITH so that we can BUILD HIS KINGDOM and truly SERVE HIS PEOPLE.UP
