“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.” — Psalm 122:1

Excited for worship tomorrow and thankful for another opportunity to gather with our church family! There is such joy in coming together to praise the Lord, grow in faith, and encourage one another.

Worship is at 8:30AM and 10:30AM in the Sanctuary with Small Groups and Sunday School meeting at 9:30AM

Praying tomorrow is filled with peace, joy, and the presence of God. We can’t wait to see everyone there! ⛪️🤍

🐒 🌺 Registration is now OPEN for Pleasant Hill’s Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School! Kids four years old to graduating 5th graders are welcome!

📅 July 12–15, 5:30-800 PM, Pleasant Hill UMC in McCalla/Bessemer

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls — a wild adventure filled with roaring waterfalls, towering trees, colorful creatures, chattering birds, and howling monkeys! 🌴🦜🌊

Kids will discover:
✨ The nature of God
✨ What it means to be rooted in a relationship with their Creator
✨ How God is our safe place through every storm

🎉 Plus — every child registered before June 15 will be entered into a special giveaway for a Rainforest Adventure Prize Pack! 🎁🐒

☕️🫖 Pleasant Hill’s Tea and Tales event today was such a blessing! Thank you to ALL the volunteers who made this fellowship and fundraising event possible! Professional storyteller Dolores Hydock was fantastic! Stay tuned to learn more about our fundraising totals for the new Sanctuary sound system. What do we think the church is? Is it a place we go to? A membership club? A community? How did the early church think about itself and what it existed for? In the next sermon series we're going to talk about all the ways we describe church, how the Bible defines the church, and how what we think about church affects our life of faith. Starting this Sunday at 8:30am and 10:30am.
