The Station Church has had such a meaningful and lasting impact on our family. Our son first brought us to the church during his junior year of high school (he wanted to be in the Station Youth Group), and we have been members since 2019. Over the years, I have watched our entire family grow spiritually and have seen firsthand how deeply our church has invested in us. We are especially blessed to now see our son and his wife attending as well. One of the things I love most about The Station Church is the way our people pour into others and genuinely care for those around them. We are incredibly grateful for the growth, encouragement, and love we have experienced as a family and for the blessing of being part of a church community that has made such a lasting difference in our lives. The minute we walked through the doors of The Station, we knew we were with family. Our whole family felt loved, welcomed, and like we had a place to belong. ❤️

The six years we spent at The Station were filled with so many blessings. From hosting a community group in our home and building relationships we still cherish today, to watching our kids grow up feeling loved and learning about Jesus through songs, musicals, fun trips to the pumpkin patch, and so much more. Singing and serving on the praise team was also such a special part of our time there.

We can’t fully express how much love we have for The Station and its people. Watching it grow and seeing how the Lord has blessed this church has been such a beautiful answer to so many prayers we prayed throughout our time there.

We are forever grateful for the memories, friendships, and the ways The Station has been a part of our family’s story. We know God is going to continue to do wonderful things in this place!

I am going to try to put into words what The Station Church means and has meant to our family. We came to the church to visit when they were meeting at Brock’s Gap, sometime within the first five months of them starting. We had just moved to Hoover and Scott had read somewhere that Randy was starting a church in the Hoover area. (Scott went to Alabama with Randy) We wanted to find a church home where our kids would go to school with the same kids they went to church with. We only had a 1 year old at that time. We immediately knew that this would be our church home. We were met with such warmth and sense of belonging. We really became family with the other families in the church as we did a lot of set up and tear down each Sunday. It felt like home. Fast-forward many years and we have gone through so many life events with these people and I don’t know how we could have done it without the love and support of this truly special church family. I have literally been in church since before I was born and can honestly say that I have never been a part of a church that even comes close to being the special place that The Station is! We are so grateful to be a part of this and to be celebrating 20 years!

The Station has become so much more than the church we attend. It is truly our church family. It is a place where our family has grown in our faith, built meaningful friendships, and found opportunities to serve alongside people who genuinely love Jesus and love others. We are especially grateful that our children are growing up surrounded by people who encourage them, disciple them, pray for them, and show them what it looks like to truly follow Jesus. From worship and Bible study to serving together and sharing the Gospel, The Station has helped our entire family grow closer to the Lord and to one another. We are so thankful for The Station and for the many ways God has used this church in the life of our family. Happy 20th Anniversary, Station Church!!!

Our family's introduction to The Station Church is one of our favorite stories to tell. At the time, we'd been married about six years and had a one year old son. We lived in Hoover but still attended church in Midfield--at the church Joni grew up in and where we were married. We had a desire to find a church where we could serve in our community but didn't know where God was leading us. As we were discussing over dinner one night, there was a knock at the door, where a small group of people told us, "We're starting a church in this community and we'd love for you to come visit!" That would eventually become The Station. We attended the very first service 20 years ago at Bessemer Academy. Since then, our family has grown, our faith has grown, and our relationships-with others and with Jesus-have grown. We are so thankful for The Station Church. Happy 20th Anniversary!!!
