On Sunday, we celebrated Youth Day and were truly blessed by our youth as they faithfully served in various capacities throughout the worship service. They taught the Sunday School lesson, presented the lesson summary, rang the church bell, served as ushers, and lifted praises to God through song.
We were also honored to recognize and celebrate our students for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments throughout the school year. Their commitment and achievements are a testament to their perseverance, and we are proud of each one of them.
Words of encouragement were shared by Kendrick Burnice, whose focus word, "Advancement," inspired our students to continue striving for growth, excellence, and success in all they do.
Pastor Scott delivered a timely and impactful message entitled "Jesus: The Perfect Role Model" from Luke 2:51-52, encouraging our children and youth to follow Christ's example in wisdom, obedience, and spiritual growth.
A special highlight of the celebration was a presentation by the Life Skills Ministry, where students proudly modeled beautiful sundresses and bow ties that they designed and created themselves. Their creativity, hard work, and developing skills were on full display, making the presentation both inspiring and enjoyable. Special thanks to Ms. Carol Calhoun, Mrs. Jacqueline Strother, and Mrs. Donna Warren for their guidance and dedication.
We proudly recognized the following graduates:
College Graduate

A special congratulations to MacKenzie Lee and Jarrett Goldsby II, recipients of both the MBC Scholarship Award and the Franklin Roberts Memorial Scholarship Award. We are proud of their accomplishments and wish them continued success as they pursue their future goals.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Michael Roberts and Audra Mims for presenting the scholarship in honor of their father, Mr. Franklin Roberts, whose legacy continues to inspire and bless future generations.
