I am so glad that I was not left to the assumed righteousness of man but rather Christ, the SON OF GOD, came to save man from his putrid sin. Would it be assumed therefore, that we would be justified to return to that putrid affection. NO! Therefore
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Our old man is crucified that he will now live in righteousness by Christ
To boot,
2 CORINTHIANS 5: 18&20
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Ambassadors are representatives on behalf of another’s absence. Are you that ambassador. Do others find Christ through your life? Do others learn of Christ by your words? Do others follow Christ as influenced by you commitment of FAITHFULNESS? If Christ died for us it is therefore Christian, to live for Him on his behalf. Be an ambassador today. This life is short. Eternity is forever. The love you profess for others should be weighed on eternal scales.
