Please continue to be in prayer for our ASP Mission Trip Team as they seek to make a difference in the lives of the folks of West Virginia. What a blessing it is to partner with our sister churches such as St. Luke's in Devon to share the love of Christ.

🔔 Let freedom ring! 🔔

Turn your sound up for this one! Take a look at this breathtaking aerial perspective from this past Saturday, July 4th, 2026, as the church bells at Trinity Presbyterian Church rang out to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

If you listen closely, the bell tolls exactly 13 times—once for each of the original 13 colonies that signed the Declaration of Independence. It was a beautiful, deeply symbolic moment for our community as we honored our nation's milestone independence. 🇺🇸✨

🇺🇸 Celebrating America's 250th Anniversary & Our Legacy Since 1863 🇺🇸

Today we gathered in worship to give thanks for God's faithfulness through every generation.

As our nation prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, we're also grateful for the rich heritage of our church, faithfully serving our community since 1863. We thank God for those who came before us and look forward with hope to the future He has planned.

If you weren't able to join us this morning—or would like to worship again—you can watch today's service here:

Grace and Peace to you, from Trinity Presbyterian Church!

When Helen, our director of music, told me several weeks ago that this Sunday, June 28, would be a Hymn Sing Sunday, I told her it was almost as though the Holy Spirit was at work!

Why? Because this Sunday, our survey of Philippians, Paul's letter of great joy, brings us to a passage (2:6-11) many Bible scholars hold is an ancient Christian hymn that Paul has woven into his message.

For two thousand years, the "Christ hymn" (as scholars often call it) has been central to Christian thought about who Jesus is. Its possible origin in congregational song only goes to show how important it is for God's people to make music together.

Like Miriam and Deborah and King David... like pilgrims traveling to Mount Zion and the Temple... like Jesus and his disciples getting up from the table in the upper room... we are called to sing together our praise of and trust in God.

All are welcome at Trinity Presbyterian Church. So come to worship this Sunday at 10:00am, ready to make a joyful noise!
