Berwyn Church of Christ The Berwyn Church of Christ is the meeting location for Christians who follow the biblical examples This fulfilled the prophecies of Isaiah 11 and Joel 2:38.

Pentecost was the establishment of the church (Acts 1:4-11; 2:1-47). This also marked the beginning of the dispensation of Christ (Hebrews 8:8-13), the beginning of the church (the kingdom), the beginning of the gospel including: the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (Acts 8:26-39; Romans 16:25-26). All authority in heaven and earth was given to Christ by God (Matt 28:16-20). Because Christ

was the example by which we should live and conduct ourselves and the perfect sacrifice for our sins, we accept His authority in order to live and worship in a manner acceptable to Him (Heb 12:2; 25-29; Eph 4:1-6). We follow the biblical examples of worship set forth in the New Testament. This example teaches us to: pray together (Acts 12:5; Acts 2:42; Eph 6:18); sing together (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19); study together by means of teaching and preaching (Acts 20:7); give of our means as God had prospered us (I Corinthians 16:1-2); and partake of the Lord's Supper on the first day of every week (Matt 26:26-29;
Acts 20:7; I Corinthians 11:17-26).
