SHORT NOTE TO MY AMERICAN FRIENDS ON THIS VERY SPECIAL DAY:
DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE by the Second Continental Congress of the United States of America in July of 1776: (247 years ago).
Independence Day will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. *It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty*. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.
July 4th (Independence Day) should primarily be “commemorated as the day of DELIVERANCE, by solemn acts of DEVOTION TO GOD ALMIGHTY “.
“When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable” - Dr. Myles Munroe
Our primary focus should be on praising, worshipping , thanking, and celebrating God for delivering His own country from the strong grip of the Monarch of British, King George III as declared by the Founding Fathers 247 years ago.
God bless you as you give all glory to Him!
