We have started our Fall Sermon Series: "Journey Through Romans" which corresponds to our daily Bible readings.

Last fall, our church spent 89 days journeying together through the four Gospels. As we finished, Carol Zeart shared something that has stayed with me:

"These last 89 days in God's Word have reignited a passion for His Word that I hadn't felt in many years."

She went on to explain what had changed:

"I had been reading out of duty. But when I began reading to hear God's voice to me personally, that changed everything."

Today we begin our journey through Romans together.

Whether you've been reading the Bible for decades or you're just getting started, my prayer isn't simply that you'll learn more about Romans. My prayer is that, like Carol, you'll discover a deeper joy in listening for God's voice through Scripture.

If you haven't picked up a Romans guide yet, we still have a few available at Bethany. If getting to church is difficult, send us a message—I'd be glad to bring one to you this afternoon.
