It is with great excitement and distinguished honor that we welcome Apostle Michele Ashby to the faculty of the J.B. Lewis Seminary and Biblical Institute.

A native of Donaldsonville, Apostle Ashby brings a wealth of leadership, ministry experience, and academic achievement to our institution. After faithfully serving her country for 28 years in the military, she returned to Louisiana in 2021, continuing her lifelong commitment to service and leadership.

For more than two decades, Apostle Ashby has labored faithfully in ministry, serving in various capacities including Youth Pastor, Armor Bearer, Prophetess, and now Apostle in the Kingdom of God. Much of her ministry experience was cultivated in Phoenix, where she served under influential men and women of God, receiving valuable training and impartation that continues to shape her ministry today.

A lifelong learner and educator, Apostle Ashby is a graduate of two ministry training institutes, holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, earned a Doctorate in Divinity from Heart Bible International, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling.

Do you have a desire to deepen your understanding of ministry, spiritual leadership, and theology? You’re looking at one of your instructors. Apostle Ashby combines academic excellence with practical ministry experience, equipping students to effectively serve, lead, and minister in today’s world.

She is the founder and visionary of Speak Life Global Ministry, a ministry dedicated to restoring hope and breathing life into individuals who believe their dreams, purpose, or circumstances have come to an end. Through prayer, fasting, biblical teaching, and spiritual warfare training, she empowers men and women to achieve victory both spiritually and naturally.

Her ministry’s influence extends beyond the United States, with ministry partners in Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, with continued expansion on the horizon.

As she joins our instructional team, we are confident that her wisdom, global ministry perspective, spiritual insight, and passion for developing leaders will greatly enrich the lives of our students. Her commitment to excellence in ministry and education aligns perfectly with our mission to equip leaders who will impact churches, communities, and nations for the glory of God.

It is with great honor and anticipation that we welcome, Dr. Mornique Belvin, Psy.D., LPCT, to the team of the J.B. Lewis Seminary and Biblical Institute.

A native of Belle Rose, LA, Dr. Belvin is a Licensed Professional Christian Therapist, educator, speaker, and founder of OASC (Overcomers: A Second Chance). She is also a proud graduate of H.O.P.E. Bible Institute (HBI), where her passion for biblical education and Kingdom service was further cultivated.

Her extensive academic background in Biblical Psychology, Theology, and Religious Studies uniquely positions her to bridge the disciplines of faith, healing, and spiritual formation. A passionate advocate for transformation and wholeness, Dr. Belvin has dedicated her life to empowering individuals through counseling, mentorship, ministry, and education.

As she joins our instructional team, we are confident that her wisdom, insight, and unwavering commitment to Kingdom advancement will greatly enrich the educational experience of our students. Her presence strengthens our mission of developing knowledgeable, compassionate, and spiritually mature leaders who are equipped to impact lives both within and beyond the walls of the church.

“Love Thy Neighbor” … y’all already know that’s Pastor K’s FAVORITE part of the service! ❤️

In a world filled with so much division, this moment reminds us of who we are called to be as believers: a ministry of PURE LOVE. Just as Jesus demonstrated love through compassion, kindness, and fellowship, we intentionally take time during worship to show genuine love to one another.

More than a segment… it’s the heart of this ministry. 🤍 LOVE

Because people may forget a sermon title, but they’ll never forget how love made them feel. 🫶🏽

We pray that you feel the Love of God on this beautiful blessed day and as our Pastor always says, WE LOVE YOU and there’s absolutely NOTHING that you can do about it, but love us back!
