Everybody wants destiny until destiny starts costing them comfort, relationships, and the right to keep living in yesterday. 👉🏾 Jesus didn't stop at the applause of the crowd because Calvary was still ahead.

In the same way, every good moment is not your final destination. Sometimes the resistance gets louder because you're finally moving in the right direction.

Your past can teach you, but it doesn't get to keep you.

Maybe you're tired from carrying your family, worried about money, disappointed by how something turned out, or trying to stay strong for everybody else. Those are the moments when depending on God becomes more than a church phrase.

Paul learned that God’s grace was enough in the place he felt weakest. Sometimes God does not remove the pressure right away because He is showing us that we do not have to carry it alone.

God’s peace was never a promise that you would always feel comfortable, unchallenged, or in control. Sometimes God will disturb what's become familiar because where you are comfortable is no longer where you're called to stay.

So before you say, “I’m just protecting my peace,” ask yourself whether God is actually trying to stretch you beyond the place you have learned to settle in.

Not everything that makes you uncomfortable is disrupting your peace. Some things are disrupting your complacency.

Grace meets us where we are, but it also calls us forward. 👉🏾 So ask yourself this: Am I really growing, or am I just comfortable?
