Praising the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness. Bethany B. Price this is beautifully written and such perfect words for this moment in time. We love this dear and godly family! We pray bountiful blessings upon each of them as they serve alongside us here at New Hope!! James Butler Misty Skelton Butler- already so much respect for you- our family!!
Today marks a beautiful new chapter for our church family as we officially welcome Pastor James Butler and beautiful family( wife Misty, children : Mary Beth, Jame Alyce, Annie Leigh, and Zach) into the fellowship of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. With prayerful consideration, along with GOD’s clear leading, today Pastor Butler was voted in today to begin shepherding our congregation. With hearts full of joyous gratitude, we see GOD’s hand in bringing them here for such a time as this.
Scripture reminds us:
“And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” — Jeremiah 3:15 (ESV)
We embrace you not only as our pastor but as our family. Our brother and sister in CHRIST, along with your wife Misty and children. We thank GOD for your willingness to answer His call to lead, serve, and walk alongside us in faith. Together, we look forward to flourishing spiritually and exhorting one another in the likeness of our Savior and LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Our very name, New Hope, reminds us of the promise we have in CHRIST JESUS. As Scripture says: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3). Pastor James’s calling to shepherd us is a living reminder that GOD is still writing our story, filling it with new hope for our future.
Just as Israel was led into new seasons under God’s chosen leaders (Joshua 1:9), we too step forward with courage and faith, knowing the LORD is forever with us.
Pastor Butler and family, we receive you with love, honor, and thanksgiving. Someone who stands firm in his convictions and boldly leads us with a bright vision for our future. We are beyond excited for the quest ahead—worshipping the LORD together in spirit and truth, strengthening the bonds of fellowship, reaching the community, and carrying the gospel to the world.
May this be a time of renewal, revival, fresh hope, and the favor of GOD—for truly, with GOD, the best is yet to come. 💙 ⛪️
