Over 1.6 billion people will never hear the gospel unless someone goes and tells them. Our frontier missions agency seeks to establish church-planting movements among unreached people groups. We do this by recruiting, training and sending missionaries to people groups who have less than one percent of Adventist Christians. Driven by faith and in partnership with people like you, our missionaries l

earn the language and culture and begin raising up a body of believers, committed to spreading the gospel among their people. This evangelism model not only empowers local believers, it enables the Adventist Church to grow and expand in areas previously unentered. Many of the areas where AFM works are off limits to the Church for social, political, or ethnic reasons. Our unique cross-cultural evangelization approach to unreached people groups breaks down these barriers and allows for exponential growth. AFM is an Adventist lay ministry and is supported solely by donations. Adventist Frontier Missions, Inc. is an independent ministry that supports the mission of the Seventh-day AdventistⓇ Church; however, it is not part of, affiliated with, or supported by the General Conference of Seventh-day AdventistsⓇ, or any affiliates known as the Seventh-day AdventistⓇ Church. Thus, any content or opinions expressed, implied or included in or with the services offered by Adventist Frontier Missions, Inc. are solely those of Adventist Frontier Missions, Inc. and not those of the Seventh-day AdventistⓇ Church.

Around the table, strangers can become friends, conversations can become deeper, and hearts can open.

Never underestimate the power of sharing a meal. It might be the beginning of a relationship that leads someone closer to Jesus. ❤️

“I could never be a missionary.”
What’s your objection?

1. “I’m not qualified.”
God doesn’t only call the qualified. He equips those He calls.
“Not that we are competent in ourselves... our competence comes from God.” - 2 Corinthians 3:5

2. “I’m not a good speaker.”
God’s answer:
“Who gave human beings their mouths?... Now go; I will help you speak.” - Exodus 4:11–12

3. “I’m too young.”
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young.” - 1 Timothy 4:12
Age doesn’t determine whether God can use you.

4. “I’m too old.”
“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” - Genesis 18:14
God doesn’t have an expiration date for His calling.
Think of Abraham, Moses, Caleb and many others whom God used later in life.

5. “I don’t have enough money.”
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:19
Where God guides, He provides.

6. “I’m afraid.”
“Do not be afraid... for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9
Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's trusting God despite it.

7. “I don’t know where to start.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart... and he will make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5–6
You don't have to see the entire path. Just take the next step God is asking you to take.

Your objections may be real.
But is God’s calling greater.

God’s mission doesn’t depend on us. But in His grace, He invites us to be part of it.

Jesus said:
“This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” — Matthew 24:14

The gospel will be preached. The unreached will hear.

God could accomplish His mission without us. Yet, He chooses to invite ordinary people like us to take part in bringing the gospel to those who have never heard it.

What a privilege it is to be part of His mission!

Sometimes, one special relationship can open the door to something much bigger.

While serving as student missionaries in Cambodia, Elena Adams and the other missionaries built a meaningful friendship with a very special student. That relationship eventually sparked an interest in the Bible, not only in him, but in his family as well.

In Episode 336 of the Frontier Missions Journal, Elena shares the story of a special visit that brought her and the other student missionaries closer to this family and opened an unexpected door for the Gospel.
