Back to Eden. (Where anxiety, fear and worry fade)

We were created to rest in God’s faithfulness. From the beginning, human design was to walk with God in the cool of the day. This is our normal posture that Christ won back for us.

God is wooing us back to the garden of Eden of where we can rest our full weight on His faithfulness and live out of that posture.

One of our amazing leaders had an incredible dream the day of our retreat about Jesus teaching about rest😭🔥

Jesus had a conversation with her that Carrie’s so much revelation for all of us, it went something like this: “Do you know why I was sleeping during the storm?”

‘No’ Elizabeth said

He warmly laughed, “because I was tired”

He continued… “Do you know that I didn’t rebuke the disciples for not stilling the storm but because they didn’t rest when it was a time to rest” He went on to explain that they weren’t able to be victorious in the trial because they were exhausted.

Learning to rest requires us to release control and trust God.

Learning to rest requires us to understand that rest is an important part of a healthy life.

Learning to rest begins when we release our heavy burdens, and receive Jesus instead.
