Our Power Camp is a co-ed sports camp for boys & girls ages 8-12. MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT! We were privileged to be visited by two FCA missionaries from South East Asia. Vu from Vietnam 🇻🇳 , and Husband and wife Joshua and Kim Hun from Cambodia 🇰🇭. We were able to hear about how God is moving mountains and amazing things are happening. Many athletes coming to Jesus, getting baptized in such a harsh environment to the Gospel. We are proud to be partnered with them. GO TEAM FCA. GO CAMBODIA! GO VIETNAM! GO JESUS!!

DEVO OF THE WEEK!! Hey y’all, Ethan here, another passage from Colossians 3 this week!

When competing at any athletic level, the mind is sometimes the most important factor to a team’s/player’s success. I remember playing soccer in 4th grade and in the heat of an “intense” game, I looked and saw one of our defenders sitting on the ground picking flowers. Needless to say, his mind was not set on the task at hand, and because of this he was practically useless to our defense.

Now, a 4th grade soccer game is not the most important moment of my life. But it reminds me much of my spiritual walk with God, how sometimes when my mind is not set on God, it is easy to see the consequences of it. Whether in stressful, scary, or sad situations, depending on myself only led me to depression, hopelessness, and fear.

But as I’ve grown older, I’ve started to see the beauty of dependence on God, how in times of need trusting him with my life has brought me not only peace but has allowed me to serve Him faithfully in my ministry. no matter what you’re going through, full dependence on Christ will certainly bring trials and struggles, as we live in a broken world, but God is faithful and will give us the peace and strength to glorify him and everything that we do. This week, seek to serve him, and set your mind on Christ!

DEVO OF THE WEEK!! Sorry for the delay, your boy Ethan has been swimming in school work! This verse I chose for our RENEW series because it has been a verse that has particularly been fulfilling for me.

This whole passage (Col. 3:1-17), Paul emphasizes the importance of putting off the sin and unrighteousness in our lives, and then “putting on” righteousness and a Christ-like heart. Through Christ, we have been chosen to represent His perfection, represent his sacrifice that He took for us! Through His grace we have saved, and have been brought into the body of Christ!

If we are to claim that we are in Christ, but do not seek to represent Him in EVERY aspect of our lives, then we are a WASTE to the potential that we have been given through Him. Recognize that you, my dear friend, have been chosen by God for salvation and because of this you can spend eternity with Him! Let that joy motivate you to serve Him, to seek perfection, and let that assurance of your faith bring peace that rules in your heart. Have a great week yall!

DEVO OF THE WEEK! Happy Valentines Day FCA, we love you guys and hope you know that our Lord Jesus Christ, the author and founder of our faith, loves you more than you could ever know.

Throughout Scripture we see God pursuing His people, calling them to come back to Him. He desires a relationship with us, and through that relationship we can honor and glorify Him. We can express OUR love for Him by seeking righteousness, and living for His glory!

We who have been saved by Christ, who have the Holy Spirit in us because of our salvation, can do nothing to earn salvation, it is by God’s Sovereign hand (Romans 9). But He calls us to serve Him, to love Him, and let that love extend towards others.

So today, whether it be a spouse, friend, family member, or enemy, let the love of Christ drive you to serve and bless others, that Christ may be glorified! We love you all, have a great week!!

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHT!! This Wednesday at Rancocas Valley High School, we got to sit in on a special huddle, where 3 students got saved!! We love to see how God is working and moving in these schools, and it’s amazing to see Him bring students back to Himself! Pray for these students as they begin their walks with the Lord, and praise the Lord for His grace and mercy!!

DEVO OF THE WEEK!! Renew your Relationships! A true team is one that is well rounded, one that communicates, one that works together like a brotherhood. If only a few players are dedicated or well practiced, they can appear lopsided, and many times the dedicated players find themselves worn out.

The same applies spiritually!! As believers, we must be dedicated to being well rounded. We are called as Christians to unite with other believers, to build up one another in fellowship and love. The author of Hebrews emphasizes this, calling us to seek fellowship, and through good works and encouragement help each other walk in newness with Christ! This week, lean on those around you, and likewise build those around you up in encouragement.

DEVO OF THE WEEK!! As Christians we need to be constantly aware of our hearts, our dedications, and our motivations. Living in a sinful world it is so easy for one to conform to the world and those in it. Many churches, ministries and Christian groups have created a habit of conforming to the world to connect with unbelievers, to seem “cool” and “with the times.” Brothers and sisters if we are trying to be like the world to get the world to be like Jesus, then we have failed the world. We have failed God and His call to be renewed, be changed, be different. As Christians if we are not actively making unbelievers and other Christians uncomfortable with their unhealthy lifestyles, then we have been confirmed and not reformed. Live for God by seeking to live as he calls us: to be different. Be renewed by Christ, and allow Him to guide you!
