Connecticut Pagan Pride

Connecticut Pagan Pride We support our Pagan businesses, educators and groups by including them in our event. This year Pagan Pride Day is on September 6 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Connecticut Pagan Pride is a one day event that encourages the Pagan community to educate the general public about who we are and to dispel the myths that they may have. With that in mind, we work hard at gathering local teachers and leaders from our community to provide workshops geared toward introducing and expanding participants' knowledge of all aspects of Paganism. As a part of the greater C

onnecticut community, we also collect donations for local food banks, animal shelters and religious items for soldiers deployed overseas. Our event takes place during the first harvest season which lasts from August 1st until the Autumnal Equinox. This is the season when many celebrate the first harvests of grain from their growing season. Our group ritual is at 1 pm. Join us for a great day of education, food, fun, crafts and great Pagan merchants!

Hello!

Unfortunately we have not planned an event for the fall this year. I have been dealing with health issues and have had to focus on those.

I am going to see how this winter goes in regards to planning a spring event. Thank you for checking in!

Hello!
I have had a few check in's regarding PPD this fall. I want to let you know that I am putting the event on hold until 2022 just to be safe.

I know this may seem like I am being overly cautious, I really want to make sure that vaccination rates are high. While I have read the new CDC guidance I am still concerned about potential exposure and I would rather take the time to be safe and make sure that we can enjoy our event without fear or concern.

If you have questions please feel free to message me. I hope, along with all of you, that we can ease back into group gatherings as I have missed seeing you all. HUGS! Hugs are important and I want to be able to give them (and get them)!

Hello my lovelies!

I wanted to update you on our fall event. With the virus still a significant danger to all of us I have decided to cancell the fall event.

While this may be a disappointment to many, I was unable to convince myself that it would be a good thing to gather. That along with not moving from Phase 2 for our state settled things for me.

I will miss seeing all of you and would hope for a better spring so we can plan our Beltane event!

Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

For those who planned on vending I will be refunding the fees over the weekend.

Hello everyone!

As Gayle posted we will not be having Beltane this year due to the concern over the Covid-19 virus.

For those in our community who have been touched by this disease please know our hearts go out to you.

Later this weekend I will post a set of links to our vendors and presenters for our community.

I am hopeful that our fall event will still go on as planned!

Please stay safe as we would live to see you all this fall!

Hello my lovelies!

It is with an extended heavy heart that we will have to cancell the in-person Beltane event. The Governor's EO extends past the April 26th date.

With that in mind we are looking at an alternate method to come together and share our skills and wares. If you are interested in participating please let us know.

Vendors: we will refund your payments for the April 26th event or apply them directly to the Sepetember event which we are still planning at this time.

Please let us know what you would like to do via email and keep us on your calendar for September 20th!

03/06/2020

We are looking for a group to lead the morning and main ritual for the upcoming Beltane event. We provide the pole and the compass correct directional correspondences.

If you are a local group leader or know of a local group that would be interested please send an email or pm us!

Yesterday was a great day and I wanted to take a moment to thank those who helped bring the community a place to gather and learn:

Pagan Pride Wranglers, Allie, Iris and Jason, thank you so very much for all your background help while I wrestled with my life challenges.

Tony and Gayle: thanks for sticking by me and the event doing all that you do to help out before, during and at the end of the event.

The Church of Eternal Light for providing a Mabon ritual on gratitude.

Presenters: your willingness to share your knowledge with the community is our greatest strength and blessing.

Vendors, you make so many beautiful things to offer our community. Thank you for sharing your gifts!

Community for your generosity to animals and other humans through your donations!

May your last harvest fill you to carry you through the dark months and into the coming of the light!
