🙏 Join Us: Amitabha Recitation — Every Thursday
Starting August 6, we're gathering online every Thursday at 7:30 pm (SF time) to recite the name of Amitabha Buddha and sing devotional songs, all in English. Just fifteen minutes together, chanting and singing to connect with Amitabha's vows.
Venerable Master Hua taught us to recite the Buddha's name as much as he taught Chan/Zen meditation. This practice has traditionally been carried in a Chinese cultural form — beautiful for those raised in it; this English-language format is an invitation for those who didn't grow up with it to enter the practice too.
