We do Bon-odori, but did you know it's a big event in Thailand, the Philippines, Argentina, and even Malaysia, where it attracts 50,000 people? In Brazil, they add samba and J-pop elements. But nothing compares to Gujo in Japan, where they dance for 30 days, concluding with an all night dance that doesn't stop until 5 a.m. Watch it all here!

The Bon Odori dance, a Japanese summer tradition, has gone global. We look at events held in Malaysia and Brazil and explore the rhythms that bring people from diverse backgrounds together.
